Slightly Spicy Toasted Sesame Soy Sauce
Toasted sesame oil is what elevates a stir fry sauce from “meh” to magnificent. This one is a good all-round Asian sauce, suitable for all proteins.

1-quart sauce pan
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce with 2 tsp cornstarch dissolved
- 4 tsp. rice wine vinegar
- 4 tsp. toasted sesame oil (regular sesame oil will work fine)
- 2 tsp. hot red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp. sugar
Add 1-2 T sesame seeds, if desired.
Directions
Put all ingredients in sauce pan and heat until bubbly and starting to thicken
