This is the best can opener I have ever used. It’s gotten to the point that a hand can opener is too difficult to use. I researched a lot before choosing this one. It opens all size cans- even the super jumbo commercial cans. I like that the cutter does not go inside the can, so it doesn’t get gunked up with food that you have to clean off each time. The can is opened leaving a smooth top that won’t cut you or slice a hole in the trash bag. The negative reviews are from people who are not using the device correctly. You only need to cut around the top once.
